No heating or no hot water?

These are some of the many common faults that occur on heating systems and boilers one of our expert engineers will be able to identify and rectify the fault.
it’s important that your heating is working efficiently or you could be wasting a lot of money on energy bills. sometimes you may notice that some of your radiators aren’t as hot any more or hotter and cooler in other areas and even take a long time to get heat into them this can be a few things but one common one is that over time you get sludge building up inside stopping the correct circulation and if not cleaned out correctly can cost you on the bills as more energy will be used trying to get the heat around to solve this a power flush may be needed which is a machine that connects to system and pumps it around with a chemical until all is drained out and water is relatively clear then after we install an inhibitor to protect this from happening and advice a magnetic filter to be installed.

Of course, ahead of any work we undertake we conduct a comprehensive quote to provide you with a price for the job. We’re focused on complete transparency and ensuring you are kept in the loop at all times.

We accept bank transfer (credit & debit), cash, pay pal, cheque.

We cover all of Merseyside and surrounding areas but if the circumstances where right we can go further afield.

You should have your boiler serviced annually. It’s vital to get your boiler serviced to ensure it is operating efficiently and safely, having your boiler serviced can save you from bigger issues in the future.

A power flush is a machine that is connected to your heating system and pumped around with chemical in it and gives the inside of your system a good clean and as they say its inside what matters most your radiators may look brand new but inside could be full of sludge and you may notice takes a while to heat up or some parts of radiators are cool this may mean it’s time for a power flush.

Believe it or not a power flush can be an investment as it can save you a money on the bills in the future as if your system is full of sludge your boiler will be working really hard to get the heat around, the harder it has to work the more fuel it will consume which means the more money it’s going to cost you. Your system will work so much more efficiently after.

Absolutely we have no issues with you supplying your own materials.

No if your boilers making loud banging noises it could be several reasons why but one of the most common is that is that the system is full of sludge and there are blockages which put stress on the boiler and causes it to make noises due to the struggle.

Low water pressure in a heating system can be down to several things i.e. leaking pipes somewhere whether it be visible or under floors or several part faults within the boiler. Best thing is to give us a call to come and run the test so we can diagnose the fault.

First thing advised would be to turn off the incoming mains into the property by the stop tap normally at the front of the house/outside or under the kitchen sink but sometimes can be in small cupboards under stairs each home can be different but you should know where it is, then immediately give us a call.

Yes we do install dishwashers, washing machines, fridge/freezers but we don’t not do any repairs on them unless is on the water supply feeding them.

If you think you have a gas leak or can smell gas, leave the house and phone the National Gas Emergencies number immediately on 0800 111 999. If you’re at home, and you can do it safely, turn off your gas supply. The gas mains tap should be beside your gas meter.

Don’t turn on any switches, including light switches. Turn off the oven and don’t light anything, like matches or cigarettes.

Ventilate the property.

Extinguish all naked flames.

Get everyone out the property.

A high water bill can be due to several things some of the common ones are dripping taps, leaking pipes, faulty toilet flush (passing) or even water wastage for example over watering the lawn or taking really long showers.

Bad sewer smell can be a few things one could be that the trap seal in one of the traps is no longer there and doing its job allowing smells to pass up through it an anti-vac trap can solve this problem or it may be that there is a loose waste plug somewhere on the line allowing smells out or it may be coming from outside of the property.

The easiest way to unclog your toilet is with a plunger, but if you don’t have one on hand, fill the toilet with dish soap or laundry detergent, add a pot of boiling water and then wait a few minutes before flushing. The hot water should break through the clog as the soap washes everything through the siphon and out of the drain if this doesn’t work then you are best giving us a call as the issue may need more investigation.

If your water meter is leaking, call a plumber immediately. You should also contact your water utility provider as well because if the leak is between the meter leading to the water utility, it is their financial responsibility to fix the leak. Leaks between the meter and your home are yours.

Your outside faucet is likely running because the gasket or the valve seat has worn out and needs to be replaced.

Prevent clogged drains in your home by stopping hairs, oils, greases, coffee grinds, pasta or hard produce parts, such as broccoli stalks, carrots or apple cores, from going down the drain. A drain stopper or filter can help stop materials, like coffee grinds, pasta and produce from entering your drain.
